UK Right of Abode I started the process of obtaining my Right of Abode in the UK back in 2019. It started off with a web search, where I found ICS and then a phone call with them about my options. Things started moving forward and then Covid hit; I put the process on the back burner. I started trying to communicate with ICS again in late 2021, but we were unable to connect. There wasn't much communication from them. This was in the late winter of 2021. Ultimately, in early 2022, I started a chat with a team member on their website. They were very apologetic and after that the lines of communication were good again. ICS provided guidance on the necessary documents that are required, which I obtained. They then helped me start the application on the UKVI site, as well as preparing a legal letter from them to support my application. The process was moving expeditiously. I made the necessary appointments and was awarded my Certificate for the Right of Abode in June, which is fixed inside one of the pages of my USA passport. Overall, ICS was very helpful and communicative, except for the aforementioned period of time. They are generally easy to reach via chat, email, or phone and generally reply within 24 hours (although, there were a few times I had to write multiple emails to get a response). I would recommend using ICS for Visa & Immigration services, and will use them again for guidance when I need to obtain a renewal for my Right of Abode.
