  • Charity worker visa (Tier 5)

This visa is issued who are coming to the UK to do unpaid voluntary work for a charity. The work they do must relate to the work of their sponsor’s organizations. Applicants need to have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer before applying.

Eligibility to apply for charity worker visa

You have to submit the documents that show you are able to support yourself. So you must have £945 in your bank account for 90 days before you apply. Besides, it is required to have a certificate of sponsorship reference number from your UK sponsor.

Documents you have to provide 

When you apply you require providing:

  • A current passport and other valid travel identification
  • You have had at £945 in savings before you apply for 90 days. This is to prove you can support yourself and you must have this in your bank account for 90 days before you apply.

Apply

You must apply online for this visa. You require your fingerprints and photograph taken at a visa application centre as part of your application. You will require collecting biometric residence permit within 10 days of when you said you would arrive in the UK.

  • Creative and sporting visa (Tier 5)

The creative and sporting visa category is for a small number of highly skilled people coming to the UK who have been offered work in the UK as sports person or creative worker. You need to have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer before you can apply to come to the UK to work.

Eligibility for creative and sporting visa (Tier 5)

Your eligibility for this visa depends on whether you are a sports person or a creative worker. However, you need to make a significant contribution to your sport at the highest level in the UK to be eligible for this visa.

Documents you must provide

When you apply you require providing

  • Your current passport and travel documents
  • Documents of your bank statements which are showing you have had at least £945 in savings continuously for 90 days before you apply. This proves you are eligible to support yourself and you must have had this in your bank account for 90 days before you apply.
  • If you are applying as sportsperson or coach, a letter of endorsement from your sport’s governing body should be provided.

Apply

You must apply online for this visa. You require having your fingerprints and photographs taken at a visa application centre as part of your application. You will have to collect your biometric residence permit within 10 days of when you said you would arrive in the UK.

Staying in the UK on creative and sporting visa (Tier 5)

In this visa you can stay in the UK up to 12 months, or the time on your certificate of sponsorship plus 14 days, whichever is shorter.

  • Government authorised exchange visa (Tier 5)

This visa is issued to them wishing to come in the UK for work experience or to do training, an overseas government language programme, research or a fellowship through an approved government authorised exchange scheme.  Their work, training or research in the UK must relate to the work of their sponsor organization. Applicants must have a certificate of sponsorship from licensed sponsor before you apply.

You must have the following

  • A certificate of sponsorship reference number from your UK sponsor
  • Bank statement that shows you have £945 in your account to support yourself

Extending government authorised exchange visa (Tier 5)

You can apply to extend government authorised exchange visa. You must still meet the eligibility requirements.

How long you are allowed to stay

You can apply to reside in the UK up to 12 months when you are doing work experience and up to 24 months while doing research, training or an overseas government language programme.

  • International agreement visa(Tier 5)

You can apply for international agreement visa (Tier 5) if you are contracted to do work covered by international law while in the UK, for instance working for a foreign government or as a private servant in a diplomatic household.

You must have the following

  • Bank statement that shows you have £945 in your account to support yourself

Religious Worker visa (Tier 5)

This visa is issued who aspire to do religious work such as preaching or working in a religious order. Applicants will require a certificate of sponsorship from a Tier 5 licensed sponsor before they apply. The work they do must relate to their sponsor organisation’s work.

Eligibility

You must have at least £945 in saving to prove that you are eligible to support yourself. A certificate of sponsorship reference number from the UK sponsor must be needed to provide.  

Documents you must provide

  • Current passport
  • Bank statements that show you have had at £945 in saving. This proves that you are able to support yourself.

 

 

Apply outside the UK

You must apply online for this visa. You will require having fingerprints and photograph taken at a visa application centre to get a biometric residence permit.

How long you can stay

You can apply to stay in the UK up to 24 months.

Seasonal Worker Visa (Tier 5)

Applicants can apply to seasonal worker visa when they want to come to the UK to do farm work. They need to have a sponsor and meet the eligibility requirements to be able to apply for seasonal worker visa. You can only work in the job that is described in the certificate of sponsorship.

Youth mobility scheme (Tier 5) visa

Youth mobility scheme is for the young people who are aged between 18 and 30 from certain countries. Applicants need to have £1890 in saving so as to prove that they are eligible to support them.

Documents you must provide

While applying you require providing

  • Current passport
  • £1890 in saving in order to prove applicants are able to support them
  • Tuberculosis test results if you are from a country where you have to take the test

Apply outside the UK

You need to apply online for this type of visa while you require having fingerprints and photograph taken at a visa application centre to get a biometric residence permit. However, you will have to collect your biometric residence permit within 10 days of when you said you would arrive in the UK.
