The Home Office policy on this has changed since the 9th of August, 2023. Some of the fundamental changes announced on the 7th of December, 2023, are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Firstly, a person would not permitted to make a valid EUSS application if they have traveled to the UK or have been in the UK without permission.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secondly, where a person enters the UK as a visitor, they must apply within 3 months of entry. This would be in line with the withdrawal agreement.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition, the ability for the Home Office to either cancel or curtail a person\u2019s status under EUSS if this done in error or if the person provided wrongful information.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Home Office has removed the ability to do administrative review when an application for EUSS has refused. The right to appeal is now restricted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-immigration-changes-and-impact-on-visitor-visa\"><span id=\"immigration-changes-and-impact-on-visitor-visa\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Immigration_Changes_and_impact_on_visitor_visa\"><\/span><strong>Immigration Changes and impact on visitor visa<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There has been a number of changes to the visit visa route, one of those including a persona able to work remotely for their employer or that they can support a client in the UK. Further changes to researchers and scientists are now permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A host of changes have announced, allowing the UK to be more inclusive of short-term visa assignments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need more details on the short-term visa assignments, please email us at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:info@icslegal.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>info@icslegal.com<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-immigration-changes-and-impact-youth-mobility-visa-scheme\"><span id=\"immigration-changes-and-impact-youth-mobility-visa-scheme\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Immigration_Changes_and_Impact_Youth_Mobility_Visa_scheme\"><\/span><strong>Immigration Changes and Impact Youth Mobility Visa scheme<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Home Office have decided to include a number of new countries to the program, as our trade deals are becoming better. The age groups have expanded to 35 years, allowing more talented people to come and live in the UK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bereaved-partner-visa\"><span id=\"bereaved-partner-visa\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bereaved_partner_visa\"><\/span><strong>Bereaved partner visa<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Above all the change in the new visa category allows who held a<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/icslegal.com\/uk-spouse-visa\">UK spouse visa<\/a><\/strong>, can apply on those grounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-victims-of-domestic-violence\"><span id=\"victims-of-domestic-violence\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Victims_of_domestic_violence\"><\/span><strong>Victims of domestic violence<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applying on those grounds leads to settlement. The new change would permit those outside of the UK to apply under the provisions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evidence of domestic violence is evident in the relationship, even if the person is not in the UK but is dependent on the person who settled in the UK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-applying-on-the-grounds-of-statelessness\"><span id=\"applying-on-the-grounds-of-statelessness\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Applying_on_the_grounds_of_Statelessness\"><\/span><strong>Applying on the grounds of Statelessness<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We know that British Nationality laws allow someone to apply for nationality if they are Stateless. However, there is a new Immigration changes and impact policies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An application based on being Stateless can now be made. In doing so, a person can make an application on those grounds. Their dependents, including partners and children, will have to apply under Appendix FM of the immigration rules.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Initial grant give with the view to settle after 5 years. Dependents can also apply for indefinite leave to remain after the provisions of 5 years residency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-temporary-work-visa-routes\"><span id=\"temporary-work-visa-routes\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Temporary_work_visa_routes\"><\/span><strong>Temporary work visa routes<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the visa categories under the temporary work visas allows migrants to come and live in the UK for short work assignments.
